delSol_si
So I went to the local hippy/smoke shop and found some tobacco flavoring. They had about 4-5 flavors and I decided to go with blueberry and raspberry because they sound the best to me. They were about $3 a bottle, which is expensive, but this stuff is strong so you really don't need much. The guy at the shop told me that is it made for using with ciggs and cigars, so I figured why not try it with shisha? So I got some blueberry Layalina out and put a few drops in and stirred it up, then let it sit as per the directions. I then went to put water in the vase and though "why not?" and added a few drops to the water as well. Damn this stuff smells strong, but good! I filled the vase up to about 1/2"-3/4" above the stem, basically right above the little knob thing at the bottom.I went down to the smoking lounge and lit up. DAMN!!!! This was the best tasting bowl I have EVER smoked. The room smelled like ciggs, and the once I started puffing on my hookah, everyone in the lounge goes "damn, it smells good in here now!" Normally the good flavor of a bowl lasts like 20-30 min, this bowl had EXCELLENT strong flavor the entire time, up to the last hit (had to quit because those damn CH coals don't last very long and the shisha was about out anyway). These little bottles were worth every penny. Haven't tried the raspberry yet, but will to night! I am also going to start experimenting with other flavors of shisha. I don't know if it was the flavoring in the water or the shisha or both, but damn I was a happy smoker! I don't know if anyone else has tried this before or not, but though I would share my good news! Here was my setup:32" KM icesmall tangiers phunnel bowl with tea light modnew design of KM hoseBlueberry Layalina shisha with the added flavoringNO ice was used4 CH coals were used (alternated from 3 and 4)Sorry for the gigantic photos, don't really know how to resize them on a mac(still getting used to it). SuburbanSmoker
back in the day there was this stuff called hookah juice that you could mix with gylcerine. it was orginally used to flavor the water in the base, however it had the potential for multiple applications. im assuming this is something similar to that. worked really good, and i believe there was 14 flavors. need to remember where hookha life was getting it from though... inino
that stuff looks really good for making your own shisha. Is it water, alcohol, or oil based?
mitchard
I have tried it. Didn't work that well. My buddy uses it in his nht water pipes for extra flavoring in both the smokeable substance and the water.

Just made up a weird concoction this afternoon myself to flavor the water while I smoke up some leftover Havana. Orange peels, maraschino cherries, leftover sangria from the weekend - cooked it and froze the juice in mini cube trays. Smells like fruit loops so we'll see!!!! FactorE
interesting.. I put peppermint extracts that I buy from grocery stores in the hookah bowl and that seem to be the best minty flavor ever compare to mixing mint shishas.
AntiGravity
Oh man, I remember when I had some of that stuff. A friend of mine came over with his hookah and Layalina blueberry shisha. He said I had to try it with this banana flavored juice he adds to the shisha (which is what you have pictured up there). I have to say, that was one tasty smoke The blueberry and banana flavors actually worked pretty well (for my tastes anyway). I should try to get my hands on some of that stuff, it's definitely worth the money.

gunsboy
I cooked some homemade shisha a while back - I was broke and had no credit card to order shisha - and used those flavor it.It smoked good for like 15 minutes then went bad. I emptied the whole thing on a little bit of tobacco and still the taste did not last.
Boricua
Funny that I was just looking at some similar products from Serbetli. I was trying to find their shisha and instead found several German sites that sold these flavoring things. I'm tempted to try their mint one. Weavit
I was at a local head shop (one of like, two for 50 miles) looking for something like that to try in my friends Hookah, and much to my surprise, they carry almost NO hookah supplies and not a single hookah. They have poor quality coals and dry shisha, I guess everything I buy will be online..And to the people talking about the music on the website, under the dancing guy is a mute button. TexasHookah
Kind of funny. We just picked up the product ourselves to try out at our store about 4 days ago. We will be posting it online on the website soon as well. Tasty Puff is extremely strong flavoring. You just need a few drops. We will be carrying over 30 flavors. Good to use on dryer shisha or shisha that doesn't have much taste.

delSol_si
Nice to see that people have heard of this stuff before. Update: used the same setup as before, but I had a tub of Layalina double apple that taste like shit, so I put the raspberry flavoring in it, taste better but not nearly as good as the blueberry. The raspberry and double apple for some reason reminded me of black licorice for some reason. I then loaded up a random berry flavoring (I had put a bunch of leftover of different flavors in a container and forgot what they were) and put some blueberry drops in, much better, taste amazing. The blueberry shisha with blueberry drops has been the best tho. I wouldn't mind going back and trying a few more flavors. Glad to know at least one vendor is going to carry this. This stuff seriously has worked wonders for me. Anyone have any guesses as to whether the flavoring the in water or the shisha is giving the most result(may have to experiment)? evilded777
Interesting.More reports from the front appreciated. Seems to be a mixed bag right now, and $4/pop with 6 bottles minimum is not a drop in the bucket.
Hookie The Hookah
A local tobacco store that I just found had these and I picked up a vanilla flavored one.... I put two drops in the middle of the bowl (loaded it halfway then put the drops then put the rest in)... I've been smokin for about twenty minutes now and can just barely taste it... I think I should have put it on top instead. Thankfully I got it cheaper than the rest of you....edit: i think i just "hit the spot so to speak" im smoking jewels peach with vanilla flavor and it's really nice

I would highly suggest adding the flavor and mixing it BEFORE loading it into the bowl. Also, I am using a phunnel bowl which keeps all the juices in the bowl rather than running down the stem. One final suggestion is to try adding some to the water in your vase. I have found that when I am done smoking and it is time to clean, when I take the stem off the vase, HOLY SHIT! the water smells amazing. Usually hookah water smells kinda...fucky, but with the flavoring, it makes the water smell amazing even after you are done smoking.Try that and let me know how it goes.
